Must-Have Designer Purses (Pre-Spring 2018)

Must-Have Designer Purses (Pre-Spring 2018)

Just a peek into my closet will tell you that I am a handbag addict!! The way some people are about shoes, I'm about purses (well, to be honest...I'm kind of that way about shoes, too). Here are the designer handbags I'm lusting over this season!

1. The ENTIRE Masters LV x Koons Collection

This Keepall 50 in Van Gogh retails for $4,000 on the Louis Vuitton website.

I saw these purses in late December at the Galleria mall, and I was just a little starstruck. My favorites are definitely the Monet and the Van Gogh prints, but they're all beautiful. I don't own any Louis Vuitton purses, but how amazing would these be as someone's first LV purchase?! Plus, how adorable are the little bunny bag charms. The accent colors for the two bags I've selected are both so gorgeous, and there's so many options in this collection that it's just easiest to say that they're ALL hot bags of the moment!

The Pochette Metis in Monet features an adjustable and removable cross-body strap, and retails on the Louis Vuitton website for $3,400.

Kate Spade might just be my favorite handbag designer, and although I've only purchased some of her more, shall we say, sensibly shaped bags, I love the funky handbags she releases every season! There's been a small bag shaped like a whale, or more recently, a circular bag decorated like a tin of caviar. Kate Spade is just soooo creative, and this swan bag does not disappoint! The interior is surprisingly roomy, and her style suggestion on the website is, as always, impeccable: she says to wear it with a crisp white button-down and classic jeans. So smart, so classy, so Kate Spade.

3. Michael Kors Bristol Floral Appliqué Leather Crossbody

There are several things in fashion that I just absolutely LOVE, and quite high on that list are classic, jewel-toned colors; florals, always and everywhere; and the motif of a lock. So, needless to say...I'm a sucker for this new Michael Kors crossbody bag! It just flawlessly combines so many of my favorite aspects of fashion into one gorgeous package. There's also a color option for a bright red to replace the admiral navy, and soft pink to replace the optic white, but the blue/white is my favorite color combination. Plus, I'm quite partial to daisies (my high school's mascot is a daisy), and these are just soooo sweet.

4. COACH Rexy and Carriage Tote

The Rexy and Carriage tote is online on the COACH website for $150.00.

While I, of course, love all the floral moments happening at COACH right now, this bag caught my eye while browsing online and I just couldn't get it out of my head! I'm a huge fan of major, established brands like COACH showing they don't take themselves too seriously, and I just think this company is an expert at it. It's just close enough to the actual logo that even a COACH fanatic like myself did a double-take upon my first viewing of the bag, but WOW, how lovely. The combination of the whimsical penguins in the background with, of course, the replacement of the classic horse-and-carriage logo with something very Jurassic Park...it's just so awesome. So, so awesome.

5. Steve Madden BPAULINE

The BPAULINE is available now for preorder on stevemadden.com for $98.00.

Last but not least, Steve Madden. I loooove Steve Madden's shoes, and even have one purse, but the BPAULINE just stood out amongst all the other pre-spring 2018 bags. The rainbow rhinestone detail looks best, in my opinion, with the black patent leather body, but though there are also peach and lavender options. I love that it can be so easily transformed from a crossbody to a clutch, thanks to the front strap, and it just really seems so fun while being something you could use for any number of parties or events this year.

Which of these purses was your favorite?!

Until next time ~

XOXO, Maria
